Diagnosis in 3D: CBCT in Endodontics

Register at Eventbrite, Zoom link will be emailed following registration.

Our ability to diagnose endodontic disease is limited by the accuracy of the information we gather on our patients. Two dimensional intraoral radiography represented a significant limitation in diagnosis due to its inherent limitations. The advent of CBCT technology has revolutionized endodontic diagnosis and treatment by overcoming the limitations of two dimensions. This Zoom webinar course, presented jointly by Pulp Nonfiction Endodontics and Dr. Michael Melkers Seminars (Nationally approved PACE provider for FAGD/MAGD credit) , will review an up-to-date, evidence-based systematic approach to the use of CBCT technology endodontics.

The course will be presented Thursday, October 7 from 7-8 p.m.

Participants will:

· Understand the limitations of two-dimensional radiography

· Review the basics of CBCT imaging and interpretation

· Understand the limitations of CBCT imaging

· Examine the utility of CBCT imaging in the diagnosis of endodontic pathology and in the facilitation of endodontic treatment.

Upon completion of the course, participants will understand the basics CBCT imaging and its interpretation and utilization. Furthermore, participants will recognize when CBCT imaging should be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of endodontic pathology.

Following the course, participants will receive access to an online portal containing course content and cited research and literature.
