Preserving the Pulp: A Paradigm Shift in Endodontics

Register HERE

Vital pulp therapy techniques have been widely utilized in endodontics to treat immature permanent teeth following trauma or carious exposures. These techniques, referred to broadly as “apexogenesis,” have a documented history of success. More recently, these techniques have also been applied in the care of mature permanent teeth. Thanks to bioceramic materials, the predictability of these procedures in mature permanent teeth approaches that of immature teeth with appropriate case selection. In this course, participants will learn the scope of vital pulp therapy in the permanent dentition.

The course will be presented virtually on Thursday, December 14 from 6:30 p.m. Register at Eventbrite to receive the Zoom link. Please include your AGD number, if appropriate.

Participants will:

●      Understand the utilization of vital pulp therapy techniques in immature permanent teeth.

●      Recognize the utility of bioceramic materials in vital pulp therapy procedures

●      Apply vital pulp therapy techniques in mature permanent teeth

Upon completion of the course, participants will understand the application of vital pulp therapy techniques with bioceramic materials in the care of both immature and mature permanent teeth.

Following the course, participants will receive access to an online portal containing course content and cited research and literature.
