Managing Endodontic Complications
Complications can and may occur in the practice of endodontics. That said, complications are not synonymous with treatment failure. If complications are quickly recognized and appropriately treated, endodontic treatment may still be successful. This presentation will review common complications in endodontic treatment including perforations, instrumentation errors, and material extrusions and will discuss both management and prevention strategies for each of them. Additionally, communication strategies for discussing complications with patients will be presented.
The course will be presented virtually on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. The Zoom link will be sent to the email address used for registration. Please include your AGD number, if appropriate.
Participants will:
● Recognize intraoperative complications
● Discuss both management and prevention strategies for complications
